Dr. Ming-He Huang obtained his MD degree from Shanghai Second Medical School and PhD in Physiology and Biophysics from Dalhousie University in Canada. Subsequently, he completed his postdoctoral cardiovascular research training at Harvard Medical School. He then completed his Internal Medicine residency at the State University of New York and Cardiology Fellowship with honor at the University of Arizona. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease with additional board certificates in Echocardiography and Nuclear cardiology.

Dr. Huang served as Associate Professor and Medical Director of Cardiology Clinics at the University of Texas Medical Branch. He currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at the College of Pharmacy at University of Houston. He has contributed significantly to cardiovascular medicine with numerous publications in highly regarded medical journals. Among many achievements, he was a finalist of the prestigious Melvin L Marcus Award in Cardiovascular Science from the American Heart Association.

With over 20 years of comprehensive experience in patient care and clinical teaching, his expertise includes diagnosis and treatment of wide range of common heart diseases as well as highly complex cases. These include coronary artery disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes related heart diseases, chest pain, chest pressure/chest discomfort, palpitations, irregular heart rhythm, shortness of breath, heart failure, valvular disease and chemotherapy-induced heart damage.

Dr. Huang provides special heart disease screen and consult service to adolescence with or without active sports participation. Such service can detect congenital and/or inherited heart disease. Furthermore, he offers preventive heart disease consult. He is well liked by his patients of all social, ethnic and economic backgrounds.

We have two heart clinics conveniently located at Bay Colony Town Center in League City and Chinatown Diho Supermarket. Telephone appointment is welcome. We can take all major insurances. Self-paying patients receive special discount.
